Serious "foodies" who've always wanted to look on (and maybe help stir) while an expert chef is at work in the kitchen will want to sign on for an evening with Zephyr Cove's "Extreme Cuisine" special. Here's the report I wrote for Louisville Magazine.

One of the hottest spots on hot Frankfort Avenue, the Zephyr is packing them in with a creative, idiosyncratic menu featuring "California-style" specialities and a variety of game, along with an extensive wine list. Chow down on a slab of ostrich or boar while enjoying live music. Just don't expect a quiet dinner. This is one of the noisiest eateries in town. $$$
